When a person lives to a certain extent, you can tell the signs that you are going to get sick, don't you think?
One night in late June 2022.
Even I, who have lived for 36 years, sensed the signs of my getting sick like, "Oh, no? Could it be that I'm catching a cold?," so I took an over-the-counter cold medicine and went to sleep.
I had a high fever of over 39 degrees Celsius😇hahaha
I thought, "This could be…" and took a PCR test at the nearest hospital...
which turned out to be positive.
Then the doctor came to my home.
My wife and Kotaro also took the PCR test and it was positive.
What a mess!
My whole family has been infected with the new coronavirus!!
The medicines were posted by bike delivery from the pharmacy to the post.
I applied for food assistance from the ward, and the next day I received nine cardboard boxes of food, including water and retort pouch foods.
Every day, the doctor came to our house to measure our oxygen levels and check our physical condition.
I had an appointment for Kotaro's 2-month checkup, but when I informed the pediatrician that we had contracted coronavirus, the woman at the reception desk told me to come back after the recuperation period.
The fever was tough, of course, but the sore throat from about the third day of onset was also quite painful.
Above all, I was worried that Kotaro, who was only two months old, had contracted the coronavirus.
I was reassured by the pediatrician's careful phone call about Kotaro's home treatment.
I was also a little relieved when the doctor who came to make a house call told me that young children rarely become severe.
Fortunately, 10-day recuperation period was over without incident.
Kotaro is now completely healthy😁✨
When I looked at the medical expense notice, the total cost of the house call for me and Kotaro at the time of Corona was 670,000 yen(about 978$)😇hahaha
I've already learned my lesson about COVID-19. hahaha
