45. I'll be on Childcare Leave

Most of my job before childcare leave was to hand over my work to my colleagues😜

I spent my days organizing the work I was in charge of and hurriedly preparing manuals for handover. hahaha

Then came Friday, June 10, 2022.

This is my last day of work before childcare leave.

What a surprise!

I received many gifts from people in my office to celebrate the birth of my baby!!

１．Baby handprint and footprint kit

To my delight, a work friend asked me, "I'm thinking of giving you a gift for the birth of your baby, so what do you want?"😁✨

I talked with my wife and she wanted to leave handprints and footprints of our baby as a keepsake, so I requested this handprint and footprint kit😊

２．Naming book

Well, I'm also very happy about this🤗

I received a surprise naming certificate with a masterful handwriting🙌✨

I'm so moved that the writer added a wonderful meaning to the name "Kotaro," which was named after my long-time admiration for😭😭😭

Once again, I thought "Kotaro" was a really good name😜hahaha

Well, I can't even express how happy I was about this treasure chest😍😍😍hahaha

I really like the DRAGON QUEST series😁✨

To change the subject a bit, I carry a backpack, wear sunglasses, and ride a bicycle to work 😎

The carabiner attached to the backpack is in the shape of a slime, and the key ring attached to that carabiner is also in the shape of the slime. hehe

When I come to work, I place my sunglasses on the slime glasses stand on my desk🕶✨hahaha

Then I pour my morning café au lait using the Mug cup and Spoon of Liquid Metal Slime☕✨hehehe

I do love the DRAGON QUEST series so much that when I received DRAGON QUEST Baby & Kids -Treasure chest set to celebrate the birth of the Hero, I was soooo happy beyond description😍😍😍hahaha

At the time, I was crazy about "DRAGON QUEST TACT, an RPG in which you 'command' and 'fight'."

I used an Apple Gift Card I received as a gift to get Dhoulmagus, which had a 100% dodge rate for 3 turns, something I had always wanted🤩🤩🤩hahaha

Well, I'm really appreciate all the good gifts my work friends gave us🥰🥰🥰

And so, I'd successfully be on childcare leave🙌✨.

Then…

June 11, 2022.

The first day of my childcare leave.

I couldn't finish the whole handover, so I asked my wife to take care of Kotaro and hurriedly finished the rest of the handover at a nearby café.😇hahaha
