My wife was in the eighth month of her pregnancy and we decided to go on our last trip before childbirth.
In order not to put too much strain on my wife's body and to be able to deal with an emergency, we decided to stay at an accommodation called "amane" in Kyonan-cho, Awa-gun, Chiba Prefecture, about an hour's drive from our home.
By the way, I don't have my own car, so when I travel by car, I use a car-rental service!
I used to use a store-based car-rental service, but ever since I learned about a car-sharing service, I have been using it.
In my case, the car-sharing station happens to be near my apartment, so the car-sharing service is very convenient for me.
I rent a car at the car-sharing station, and this station is open 24 hours a day.
So I can rent a car and return it at a time of my choosing.
Unlike the store-based car-rental service, the process of renting and returning a car is instantaneous with the car-sharing service.
When I travel, I often leave early in the morning, but with a store-type rental car, I am faced with the ultimate two choices: rent before closing the day before or rent right after opening the day of the trip. hahaha
But with the car-sharing service, you can rent a car from the time of your choice, even early in the morning, such as from 5:00 a.m.
If you use the store-based car-rental service, you must return the car by the time the store closes, but if you use the car-sharing service, you can enjoy your trip without worrying about store closing hours.
Well, it's really convenient, so if you have a car-sharing station in your neighborhood, by all means, use it.
It is as if it were my car in the neighborhood parking lot. hahaha
That's all I have to say about the car-sharing promotion. hehe
I left home around 10:00 a.m., drove from the Metropolitan Expressway Central Loop Route to the Bayshore Route, and took a break at "Umihotaru," a parking area on the Tokyo Bay Aqualine.
Then, via the Higashi-Kanto Expressway Tateyama Road, we arrived at Kyonan Town, Awa County, Chiba Prefecture.
We had lunch and stopped at a roadside station along the way, so we arrived at our accommodation around 3:00 PM.
The front desk of the hotel was lined with many board games I had never seen before.
That was enough to get me really excited. hahaha
I was strongly influenced by the manga "Yu-Gi-Oh!" that I read in junior high school, and even at the age of 35, I have still loved card games and board games. hehe

There was a board game called Goblet Gobblers, with the tagline, "A super deep and advanced TIC TAC TOE in just five minutes."
I decided to play this game because the rules were so simple and it could be played in a short time.
After entering the room and setting up the Gobblet Gobblers, I opened the refrigerator door and was greeted by regional *chuhais in bottles, "Takara Craft Minamiboso Lemon" and "Takara Craft Minamiboso Summer Mandarin Orange". hahaha
*chuhai is an alcoholic drink of "shochu(a white distilled liquor)" mixed with soda water or soda pop. It is very popular alcoholic drink in Japan
The chuhai was priced at 1,000 yen for each 330 ml bottle, as if they were sold at the top of the mountain. hahaha
I immediately tried a glass of Takara CRAFT Minamiboso Lemon, and with the added atmosphere, well, it was sooooo delicious. haha
Personally, this is my favorite lemon chuhai flavor.
Dinner at amane is a bit different, we did all the finishing touches myself, such as baking and heating the food. hahaha
After dinner, I played my favorite music, sipped delicious craft chuhai, enjoyed board games, and went to sleep.
