The time is April 28, 2022.
My wife and Kotaro (our baby) will come our home on May 1.
This means that by April 30, the day before that date, I must have completed preparations to welcome my baby into my home.
I have only 2 days or 48 hours left except for today (April 28th).🤣🤣🤣
I have no time left, but brace myself and check My to do List.😜👍
My to do List
1. Freeze Chicken Dishes
2. Assemble Crib
3. Replace Shoji Paper
4. Laundry
5. Submit of birth certificate
6. Applicate for child allowance
7. Applicate for medical expense subsidies for children
8. Applicate to my company
I finished 1. Freeze Chicken Dishes right the day my wife asked me to do it.😎✨
5. Submit of birth certificate, 6. Applicate for child allowance, 7. Applicate for medical expense subsidies for children, these are all to be done at City Hall, so I'll do all of them on the weekday of May 2.
8. Applicate to my company, I'll do it on the next my workday, May 6.
So, I just need to get, 2. Assemble Crib, 3. Replace Shoji Paper and 4. Laundry done by April 30!!😝
I kind of feel like I'm ready to go…
But actually...
Our washing machine is doing so bad.🤣🤣🤣
About 6 months ago, it stopped collecting water or dehydrating, so I removed the back plate, repaired it myself, and continued to use it diligently.😜hehe
I also bought these water pump pliers to open the drain valve on the washing machine. haha
*I checked online and found that if you have a flathead screwdriver and a hammer, you can open the drain valve of a washing machine without water pump pliers. 😲

But finally on April 27, the day after Kotaro was born, every time I used the washing machine, it stopped working.😱😱😱
This of course means I can't wash the baby sheets I was asked to do, and I'm soooo worried about washing them after I welcome my baby home. 😵
No way, I had to arrange for a new washer before I could start doing laundry. 😂
I used a vertical washing machine, but now I'm going to do more laundry, so I decided to buy a drum washing machine with a dryer!
I bought it at *Yodobashi Camera, and lo and behold, it will arrive the day after tomorrow, April 30!
*Yodobasi Camera is a large Japanese electronics retailer with an online store.
Wow, really, Yodobashi Camera is the best🙌 hahaha
The installation fee was also 1,100 yen, so I decided to have the contractor install the washing machine.
I'm tired of handling my own washing machine and not going to do it again 🙃 hahaha
to be continued…
