Finally, I get to see my baby through 4D ultrasound scan!
I looked at the projected screen to see what it looked like…
Like 3D, in three dimensions and in color, I could see my baby moving in my wife's tummy, from many angles!

Hmm?
What?
This is 3D!!
So I looked it up!
◎4D Cinema
Film with seating and environmental effects.
◎4D Ultrasound Scan
3D image shown clearly as a moving image.
4D seems to be defined differently for movies and ultrasound scans. hahaha
Well, OK, back to the examination room.
The nurse said that the first place the sound waves hit is the focal point, so at first I had no idea what I was seeing on the screen. haha
Even so, the nurse carefully explained to us which was the hand and which was the foot, one by one.
The baby's hands overlapped, and although not clearly, we could see our baby's face!
"Ah! Baby's mouth moved! Is that a yawn?"
"The hands are moving! You're so energetic!"
I was soooo excited just because our baby was moving like this. hahaha
It was not until 15 minutes had passed that we saw baby's face clearly.
Until then, the nurses changed the angle and location of the sound waves to find a place where we could see baby's face clearly.
After that, I was looking at baby's face the whole time.
At times, the baby would move and I would not be able to see him, but the nurses were able to quickly follow him and make him visible.
Half an hour passed.
Well, it all happened so fast. hahaha
When we left, the nurse gave us our baby's color photos taken through 4D ultrasound scan.
I went home with my wife, looking at those photos and talking about them.
to be continued...
