I looked into the money we can get for childbirth and childcare, like childcare leave benefits or childbirth allowances, but...
I'll check if there are any other money we can get.
In many cases, we can't get this kind of money unless we apply for it.
I really struggled with unemployment insurance when I was 25 and 30. haha
What I learned then is in use now! haha
Nothing is "Waste", yes! hahaha
If I'm not mistaken, there should have been money that we could receive after giving birth, so I looked it up…
Oh, I found it!!
Childbirth and childcare lump-sum allowance of 420,000 yen per child!!!
If the person giving birth is a dependent, I have to apply, but since my wife and I work, it seems that she will apply from social insurance.
There is also a child allowance system.
This is for those who are raising children up to junior high school graduation (until the first March 31st after their 15th birthday).
◎Child allowance system
Monthly allowance per child
Under 3 years old
→ 15,000 yen
From 3 years old until graduation from elementary school
→ 10,000 yen (15,000 yen for third and subsequent children)
Junior high school student
→ 10,000 yen
We can receive it as above.
However, this will be paid from the month following the month in which the application was made.
As a general rule, you will not be able to receive allowances for months in which you apply late, so apply within 15 days from the day after your child's birth!
Yeah, I checked so much. haha
I can't seem to get any more money. hahaha
Now, let's take this opportunity to calculate the amount of money that a dual-income couple (pre-tax salary of 250,000 yen) who are eligible to receive childcare leave benefits can receive if they take maximum maternity leave and childcare leave until the end of the month when their child turns 1 year old!
○Wife
1_Maternity allowance
250,000yen ÷ 30days × (2/3) × 98days = A544,000yen
2_Childcare leave benefits
○Until 6months
250,000yen × 6months ÷ 180days × 30days × 67% × 6months = B1,005,000 yen
○From 7months
250,000yen × 6months ÷ 180days × 30days × 50% × 6months = C750,000 yen
3_Childbirth and childcare lump-sum allowance
D420,000yen
4_child allowance system
15,000yen × 12months = E180,000yen
Total①2,649,000yen
○Husband
1_Childcare leave benefits
○Until 6months
250,000yen × 6months ÷ 180days × 30days × 67% × 6months = F1,005,000 yen
○From 7months
250,000yen × 6months ÷ 180days × 30days × 50% × 6months = G750,000 yen
Total②1,755,000yen
In total, ①Wife2,649,000yen+②Husband1,755,000yen=③4,404,000yen
Surprisingly, 4.4 million yen will be paid!
From this, if we subtract the resident tax, childbirth expenses, rent, scholarships and loan repayments, and the living expenses remain, we can do it at all.
I'll do the detailed calculations later by myself, but I think it'll work, so...
I decided to take childcare leave until the end of the month when my child turns 1 year old.
Everything is IMPORTANT TO DECIDE. haha
After that, I can do something with momentum.
to be continued...
