It was Saturday, exactly two months before the due date.
I decided to attend the "Childbirth Preparation Class" hosted by Toshima Ward at the Ikebukuro Public Health Center, located right in front of Ikebukuro Sunshine City, with my wife.
I took a hot yoga class to work up a sweat before the preparation class. hahaha
I started hot yoga in January 2019, influenced by my wife.
My wife was a member of Monthly 4, which allowed her to attend 4 lessons a month, but I was hooked on hot yoga with gusto, so I became a full time member with unlimited access. haha
Ever since I got hooked on yoga, I said, "I can't work on this day because I have a hot yoga lesson!" and my entire schedule has been built around my hot yoga lesson. hahaha
I went to a yoga studio about 5 times a week, so I think I was there second only to the employees. haha
"Yeah, I worked up a good sweat today, too!"
With a refreshed look that belies the fact that I was about to attend the Papa-Mama class, I arrived at the Ikebukuro Health Center around 12:20 p.m., a little earlier than the registration start time of 12:30 p.m.
When I tried to enter the health center according to the information notice for the Childbirth class, the automatic door at the entrance was closed.
I could see the information about the Childbirth class behind the closed door, so I peeked inside the building…
A woman with a quizzical look appeared from inside.
Obviously, she thought I was suspicious. hahaha
I pointed to the information about the Childbirth class, she said to me, "Registration starts at 12:30 p.m., so please wait a little longer.
Anyway, I sat down where I could sit and I played a game of Yu-Gi-Oh until my wife came. haha
After a while, "Sorry to keep you waiting, I came by Sunshine City. What are you doing here?", my wife came over to me.
When I entered the health center with his wife,
"Hello! Sorry to keep you waiting!!"
the woman who had just appeared from inside the building greeted us with a look that said, "You really are a father, aren't you!!" hahaha
