It's my Life

Episode11. On my way to University

The previous story is here!

When I joined the gym, I had an interview.

“What is your purpose in joining this gym?” asked a trainer.

I thought, "I'm going to be laughed at anyway,"

but I said,

"I want to join the university baseball team, play an active part, and then be professional baseball player. In order to do that, I want to build up my basic physical strength here." .

At that time, the trainer listened to me until the end without criticizing or denying anything.

It was the first time for me to have someone listen to me until the end without criticizing or denying my talk, so I was deeply moved.

"Hey, you! This is the same menu that the pros do. Don't think 'I'll become a pro', but think 'I'm a pro' when training."

The trainer said it and gave me training menu.

In addition, the trainer once trained with me on the riverbed.

I was extremely happy to meet an adult who truly believed in and supported me in realizing my dream.

I studied 6 hours a day to pass entrance exams for university.

The exam subjects were English, Japanese, and Geography, so I studied for two hours each.

I worked part-time at a convenience store from 6am to 9am on Saturdays and Sundays.

I also played sandlot baseball on Sunday.

At the gym, at my part-time job, and on the sandlot baseball team, I was surrounded by people who were older than me, so I spoke in a casual way only to my family. hahaha

Because of this, I became very good friends with my younger sister.

I didn't go to cram school, so the only time constraints were on my part-time job and sandlot baseball, so every day was free and fun. haha

I was too free, and once, I spent a week in 6 days.

I lived 28 hours a day.

A week had passed after repeating this lifestyle of sleeping for 10 hours and waking up for 18 hours six times. haha

Thanks to the trainer, my training went smoothly, and my weight, which was only 60kg, increased to 75kg.

I passed the exam at Kwansei Gakuin University, and I realized that "if I work hard for 1 year, I can change a lot."

to be continued...
